HOW TO CREATE A TWITTER ACCOUNT

Step1: Open any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera Browser etc.) of your choice on your phone or computer and log on to twitter’s website. This will open the website's homepage.

Note: twitter’s homepage design is sometimes different. However, the processes of opening account remain the same as highlighted in this article.

Step2: once you are on twitter’s homepage click on the blue “sign up” button. A window pops up

Step 3: on the pop-up window fill in the create your account form with your name and phone number or email address. (you  can switch between using email and phone number by clicking use “email instead” or use “phone instead”). Click on the Next button at the top right corner of the pop-up window to proceed.

Step4: ensure you check the box at the customize your experience page. If that is done, click on Next to proceed.

Step5: verify your details in the next page and click on sign up. This will take you to the page where you will be asked to verify phone number or email address

Step6: click on verify and you will be sent a verification message on your email address or phone number. If you use phone number code will be sent to your phone- enter the code sent to your phone on the verification page. however, if you use email address, a verification link will be sent to your email address – click on the link to verify your email address.

Step 7: On the next window after you’ve verified your email address, enter your preferred six-character password and click on next to proceed

Step8; on the next window, upload a picture from your device if you have any. However, you can skip by this part clicking on “skip for now” if you don’t have any photo to upload.

Step 9: write a short description of your self on the next page or click on a skip for now if you don’t feel like doing that now

Step10: On the next form that shows up, you will be asked to select the topics you are interested in. once you are done with that click on next.

Step11: select the as many people you will like to follow on twitter to completely set u your profile. Once that is done you can now begin to make use of your twitter account to share or receive what is happening.
